With over a decade of experience across startups and enterprise environments, Chris has played a central role in shaping Kumanu’s backend architecture, cloud infrastructure, and intelligent systems. He has led development on key components of the Purposeful and Insightful platforms, building resilient, privacy-forward infrastructure that supports personalized, purpose-centered experiences at scale.
Known for fostering collaboration and innovation, Chris has built and mentored high-performing engineering teams and helped establish Kumanu’s engineering standards and best practices. He brings advanced knowledge of AWS, DevOps, and modern frameworks and languages including Node.js, Rust, Python, and TypeScript. His contributions span AI/ML-powered services, secure data architecture, and continuous delivery systems that support HIPAA- and HITRUST-aligned compliance.
Before becoming Principal Engineer, Chris served as Technical Lead at Kumanu and Co-Founder and CTO at MavinWorks, where he developed scalable systems capable of handling billions of data points and millions of requests across high-traffic environments.
